Sunday, August 8th, 2021 is the big day! I’m so excited to be attending the 2021 American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) conference in Nashville. I have been blessed to be able to attend this event since I started in healthcare in 2004. That first ASHE conference, Kathy Kuhn was kind enough to walk me around the conference and introduce me to some of the people that I now consider lifelong friends.
What I really like about ASHE was the breadth and depth of the educational breakouts. Whether your focused on construction, facility maintenance, safety and compliance, the conference has something for everyone. Attendees come from around the globe to participate.
Networking is my favorite part. There are people I have not seen for two years due to the COVID lockdown! Unfortunately, there are many who are not attending due to budget cuts and current travel policies, also due to COVID. They will be missed, but can hopefully attend some of the Web-based sessions that will be available in the weeks to come.
In addition to attending the breakouts and networking events, I’ve been invited to attend Pattons Medical’s booth #511 and HSI’s (Hospital Systems, Inc.) booth #740. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there!
